IPL 2021 Full Squads Out: Check Final Replacements and Squads All You Need To Know

Cricket fans were left heartbroken when IPL 2021 suddenly stopped because of the rising number of Covid-19 cases. After 29 encounters between the teams, the matches were put to a halt. But the good news is that IPL 2021 is back with its second phase, which has already begun on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In the first season, Delhi Capitals was on top of the leader-board with 6 wins out of 8 games, followed by Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. On the 4th and 5th spot were Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. The second phase will witness the remaining matches of the season.

The new beginning, however, seems to be accompanied by multiple assumptions and promises being made all across the globe. Recently, KKR chief mentor David Hussey stated that the team has a surprise for fans in IPL 2021. According to him, two players, Shubham Gill and Nitish Rana, would appear to be a complete package for this season, proving themselves to be the next generation of Indian players.

With the new phase of IPL 2021, the authorities have decided to continue with some existing players while replacing some of them to ensure a win. Most of the international players would be missed this time for they have their reasons and national commitments. As a result of backing out of the overseas players in the UAE leg of the season, IPL teams had to sign players to replace them to fill those slots.
