Aashna realized her responsibility and the importance of self-reliance early in life. She started working as a preschool teacher at Euro kids along with her internship. “Man proposes, God disposes “, most plans that we have changed with time. How She Started her Journey:

She decided to set up an online store “Snub Shop” by creating a Facebook page. She invested her small savings and imported clothes and fashion accessories from China. Gradually the business started picking up and making money. She would dress up in the clothes from her store and upload her pictures. Her own venture was progressing just like the way she wanted. Blogging was nowhere in her thoughts until some customers requested her to start a blog since she has such a great sense of fashion. The idea clicked and the Snub Journal came into being.

Aashna’s mom, however, was averse to the idea of blogging, she wanted her to focus on her online store. But Aashna did not bow down to pressure and continued blogging even at the risk of putting her business on the stake. Initial months were not very fruitful and did not earn her much.

“When I started blogging I did not know anything about blogging, I had no experience, no degree, and no mentor. But I desperately wanted to make it happen,” recalls Aashna.

She advises that the key to making your blog work is to evaluate what you are truly interested in because you will have to create content related to that genre. Keep creating content regularly no matter what and never let go of patience because it will take a considerable amount of time before you start making money out of it.

After some time her content was started getting noticed and she was offered Rs 5000 by India circus to create content for them. The Idea was lucrative, and some even suggested her to shut her blog and work on similar projects. But she continued to chase her passion with perseverance and did not let the negativity affect her.
