The Complete Story: Ranveer Singh Served Legal Notice by Brock Lesnar’s Advocate – God of Small Thing

It is quite common for Ranveer Singh to land in awkward situations. Hurting fans by jumping on them in a moment of adrenalin rush or dancing on the streets in Krish costume, the list is long. But this time the situation is serious than earlier. Famous WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar’s lawyer has actually served him a legal notice, that too for a tiny innocent tweet.

Details of the incident

Ranveer was in England recently where he was preparing for his upcoming project directed by Kabeer Khan ’83’ . His love from cricket is known to all , so he went to meet team India and clicked pictures with players. He even did commentary for some overs with the legendary Sunil Gavaskar. Ranveer posted a picture with Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and captioned it -“Eat. Sleep. Dominate. Repeat.”. The tweet was retweeted by Hardik also.

This apparently has not gone down too well with WWE star Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman who had retweeted the picture and written, “@RanveerOfficial ARE YOU F’N KIDDING ME???????????”. Heyman took to social media and posted a litigation warning for Singh for tweaking and using their ‘Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat’ war cry. Ranveer did not respond to Paul’s comment to and assumed things would be sorted.

Heyman’s Reaction to the Tweet:

But looks like Heyman is no mood to let things go, he has decided to take the matter upstairs and has served a legal notice to Ranveer. In his latest tweets, Heyman claimed that being Lesnar’s advocate, he has served a notice to Singh in the developing matter. He also took a jibe on all the publication houses who called him Lesnar’s manager and also claimed to be the best “Advocate”. Heyman wrote, “I didn’t warn. I served noticed. And while I applaud @TheStatesmanLtd for their coverage of #YourHumbleAdvocate and @BrockLesnar, I must stress that I am not a manager (what an outdated, antiquated term). I am an #Advocate. And I’m the best #Advocate in history (sic).”

Heyman Issued Warning on this Issue Earlier as well

This is not the first incident where Heyman has objected to the use or tweak of the famous war cry. Prior to this he had also warned ICC when they used a similar slogan to praise M.S. Dhoni. ICC posted Dhoni’s image with the caption – “Eat. Sleep. Finish games. Repeat. Life.”
