One More Future Rumor Debunked by Tems

Recently, Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems denied refusing to clear the sample of her song "Higher" for Future's "Wait for U". ATL Jacob, the song's producer, said Tems originally refused to clear "Higher" until Future persuaded Drake to pressure her.

Tams and her management deny these charges, calling them "telling lies". ATL Jacob said in an interview on The Baller Alert Show that Tems was "irritated" with "Wait for U" when they met at the Grammys last year, when it won Best Melodic Rap Performance.

Muyiwa Awoniyi, Tems' manager, posted the interview on X (previously Twitter) and dubbed ATL Jacob's statements "untrue" and "shocking". Tems and ATL Jacob have had heated X posts over the matter.

Tems' special sound combines Afrobeats, R&B, and soul. Since her 2018 debut, she has worked with Wizkid, Khalid, and Drake. She's known for her emotive music and poignant words

In 2023, Time magazine named Tems one of the 100 most important people in the world for her skill and impact.

Tems has addressed personal rumors before. In September 2023, she had to deny being pregnant with Future's child.

Tems has been working on new songs, despite the reports. Fans are eagerly anticipating her upcoming release and future plans.
