Sana Javed: The Actress Who Is Making Waves in Pakistan

Popular Pakistani actress and model Sana Javed excels in romance, comedy, thrillers, and social themes. Her father was an engineer in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she was born on March 25, 1993.

Kashmiri parents relocated to Karachi, Pakistan, when she was little. She earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Karachi after attending Pakistan International School in Jeddah.

Sana began modelling for commercials and fashion events. She debuted in 2012 as a supporting character in ARY Digital's Mera Pehla Pyar. She later played minor roles in Shehr-e-Zaat, Pyarey Afzal, Ranjish Hi Sahi, and Goya.

The 2016 Geo TV drama serial Khaani, in which she played Khaani, a brave and fearless teenager who fights a powerful and spoiled politician, made her famous. 

The drama was a critical and commercial success, earning her multiple nominations and prizes, including the Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress.

Sana is popular on social media and has received various acting honours. Zara Yaad Kar, Intezaar, Romeo Weds Heer, Ruswai, and Dunk are among her films and TV series. Mehrunisa V Lub U, with Danish Taimoor, was her 2017 feature debut.

She appeared in the action movie Yalghaar, a Pakistani blockbuster. In the Peabody and International Emmy Kids Award-winning animated series Burka Avenger, she voiced the female heroine Jiya.

Sana Javed will marry Pakistani singer Umair Jaswal from 2020 until 2023. In 2024, she married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.
